Auto Painting & Color Matching

Anyone can spray a panel. Making that panel look like it was never touched — on a ten-year-old finish that has faded in the East Tennessee sun — is the actual skill.

We mix paint to your vehicle's factory formula, then adjust and spray-out test cards to confirm the match against your real, weathered paint before anything goes on the car. Repairs are blended into adjacent panels so there's no hard edge where old meets new.

What’s involved

  • Factory formula, verified by spray-out

The paint code gets us close. Test cards against your actual panel get us correct.

  • Blended, not butted

Color is carried into the neighboring panels so the transition is invisible from any angle.

  • Tri-coats, pearls, and metallics

The hardest finishes to match are the ones we spend the most time on.

  • Full repaints

Sun-baked clear coat or a color change — we'll quote a complete refinish, not just a patch.

Questions we get asked

Will the new paint match my faded paint?
Yes. We tint to your vehicle's current condition rather than to a brand-new sample, and we blend into surrounding panels so your eye never catches a line.
How long before I can wash or wax it?
Hand washing is fine right away. Wait about 30 days before waxing or sealing so fresh paint can finish curing, and skip automatic brush washes during that window.
